Roger Rose FCA Qualified 1970

After training and qualifying with a 10 partner practice, Roger was promoted to audit manager. He was then invited to join an audit client in a manufacturing company, a small Plc. He spent a total of 10 years in industry before deciding that there was a gap in the market for accountants to become virtual financial directors for small companies. Working on a self employed basis, the companies had the expertise of a qualified accountant without the need to employ one on a full time basis. Hence, R Rose & Co was born. Roger therefore has a wealth of experience not only drawn from working in practice but also in industry, helping businesses to grow and retain as much of that wealth as possible. Many businesses have been helped from start up to eventual retirement or sale.

Heather Craggs FCCA Qualified 2002

Heather jooined the practice when it first opened up in Sheffield in 1996 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2002. She has helped the practice grow and has many years experience of dealing with clients ranging from sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies.

Martin Westley Practice Manager

Philip Fox

Started working for a bank before taking on the role of credit control and debt collection. He spent 15 years running his own business as a sub-postmaster. Martin now does Sage training, regular management accounts for our book-keeping clients as well as accounts preparation work.

Phil started working life in a chartered accountants office before spending 10 years in industry as an office manager. He later spent 10 years in his own business in the licensed trade. Very experienced in payroll and accounting services. The practice now uses his specialist skills working on our I.T. systems and programmes.

Ian Jubb BA (Hons)

David Fairey

After graduating from Hull University with a BA (Hons) in business studies Ian started his working life at a merchant bank as a credit controller and debt collector. Since joining the practice Ian has completed the AAT qualification and also specialises in the area of P11D’s.

Prior to joining R Rose & Co, David spent 25 years in his family business, running the in-house accounts. David looks after our payroll bureau and book-keeping clients.
